Your Finance Strategy: Are You Smarter Than a 4th Grader?
April 19, 2009 by pharma
It’s amazing how much adults can make simple concepts complex. Take this blog post for example. When we started writing this section, we began scouring the Internet for the latest in personal finance tips, tricks, techniques, tools, training, and thinking on the latest and greatest personal finance strategies.
After dozens of starts and stops along the way, it turns out everything we really wanted to say was already written in crayon by Jenna Fink (a 4th grader from Frisco, TX).
Here is her winning entry in the 2009 National Financial Literacy Poster Contest.

The moral here is that whatever your personal financial goals, it’s probably safe to say that our overall financial strategies should be similar. If we’re going to be moving on from pharma we need to get our financial house in order and begin to get used to the idea of possibly living with less.
The good news is, this isn’t rocket science.
(The bad news is, none of us are smarter than a 4th grader.)
Thanks, Jenna!
(Editor’s note: Does anyone else think Jenna should be running Pfizer?)
