Analyze Your Finances

If it’s true that you can’t manage what you can’t measure, then most of us aren’t doing a very good job of managing our money.
(Coming from an industry that gave us car, gas, phone, and meal allowances probably hasn’t helped our ability to analyze our spending habits, either.)
As some of us prepare to leave the perks behind, there are two free services that we wanted to highlight that can help you analyze and optimize your finances.
Wesabe and Mint
Wesabe and Mint are two personal finance tools that let you securely upload your financial account information from multiple sources, track your spending in real time, provide you with meaningful analysis, and specific saving recommendations based on your personal spending habits. They are both similar, but they differ in one very important area:
Wesabe also matches your spending habits against other members of the community, and highlights specific groups of people on the site that you can share information with.

Mint on the other hand, looks at your spending, and makes sure you are with the right service providers, credit cards, etc.
Both tools are free, and they are worth taking a look at if you are looking to really help yourself analyze your finances and your spending.
Good luck!
